Share Buyback 2005

Pursuant to a resolution by the Board of Management on 9 August 2005,  the retirement of the 1,829,338 shares purchased by way of the share buyback programme has become effective. Thus, the share capital of  Deutsche Beteiligungs AG, which remains unchanged at 48,533,334.20 euros, is now denominated into 16,837,329 shares.

The period of acceptance of this Offer ended on 29 July 2005, 12.00 noon Central European Daylight-Saving Time.
